Miss Morgan
Miss Morgan

Morgan grew up dancing and competing in various parts of the United States. She has been teaching since the age of 16. She has trained with many choreographers over the years through conventions and master classes, to include those who have flown from LA to choreograph her solos when she was competing. She has received over $5000 in scholarships for intensives, and master classes including an intensive held in Hollywood at the Debbie Reynolds Theater. She has been featured in many performances across the United States, including the pregame and halftime performances at the Orange Bowl and the Outback Bowl. Morgan has been a choreographer of a variety of dances for individual solos, duo/trios and groups. Her specialties include jazz, contemporary, musical theater, acro and hip hop. Morgan has received many choreography awards and judges’ awards at competitions during her career. She was a founding member of a professional performance company, Company 360, in Fredericksburg. She has been the owner/director of the Morgan Crisp Dance Company since June 2019. Under her leadership, her competition teams have won a variety of awards, to include choreography awards, studio of excellence awards, highest scoring studio, and many solo, duo/trio and group awards.

Miss Natalie
Natalie has been dancing since the age of 4 in pre-professional programs, volunteer performance groups and recreationally in Virginia Beach. She received her training at Pivot Dance Center, Twinkle Toes Performing Arts Company, and the gifted dance education program at the Old Donation School. She has training in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Modern, and Contemporary with tap being her favorite. She attended the University of Mary Washington where she was a member, choreographer, and officer for the Performing Arts Company as well as a member of the UMW Dance team. In UMW PAC she was able to continue dancing through college and pursue her passion of choreographing and teaching others. Along with teaching at Morgan Crisp Dance Company she also works as a Physical Therapy Technician for Mary Washington Healthcare. This will be her fourth season with MCDC and second season as Assistant Director of MCDC. Miss Natalie is also the choreographer and instructor for the Tap Team.

Miss Madisyn

Ms. Madisyn has been dancing since she was 5 years old. She started out with Hip Hop and went on to consistently train for the next 8 years. Madisyn has a background of competitive dance for 5 years. She has participated in multiple dance conventions and master classes during her training. Ms. Madisyn is a dental assistant full time and pursues a dance teacher part time. She has always wanted to teach dance and create an uplifting environment for her dancers to learn and grow. Miss Madisyn is also the choreographer and instructor for the Hip Hop Team, this will be her fourth season with MCDC.

Miss Jocelyn
Jocelyn has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She danced under Morgan for 6 years and during her time at Morgan Crisp Dance Company she travelled to various competitions, participated in many conventions, attended master classes and performed with the Moscow Ballet. Jocelyn is currently a full-time nanny and is working towards a General Studies degree at Germanna Community College. She has always had a passion for dance and strives to make her classroom a fun and encouraging environment!

Miss Gabby
Miss Gabby has been dancing since she was 7 years old and competed throughout all her years of dance. She is trained in hip-hop, contemporary, lyrical, ballet, pointe, acrobatics, musical theatre, and jazz and has been teaching dance since she was 15 years old. She is also a member, choreographer, and Vice President of the Performing Arts Company at The University of Mary Washington where she is a Political Science major. Dance has always been a true passion and creative outlet for Gabby and she is excited to teach young dancers to find their passion for dance.

Miss Mandy
Mandy is our tumbling instructor here at MCDC. She started gymnastics at the age of 2 and began competing at age 6 at Stafford Royals. She competed through level 9 with USA Gymnastics and also competed for Chancellor High School. There, she broke multiple school and district records and was selected as an All Area Athlete all 4 years of her career. She became a certified coach with USA gymnastics at 16 and continued to coach the competitive teams at Stafford Royals and Paragon until she finished her nursing degree in 2007. She worked as a pediatric nurse until 2021 and is now a full time mom to 3 active kids. She has always had a passion for coaching and loves being able to help our dancers accomplish new skills.

Miss Ashley
Ms. Ashley started dance at the age of 3 at Barton and Williams school of dance where she had 13 years of training. She has competed and won multiple awards in the DMV area. She performed in various productions such as “The Little Mermaid”, “The Wizard of Oz”, “Aladdin” and others. She has studied in multiple studios in northern Virginia and was accepted to summer intensives at Virginia School of the Performing Arts, Richmond Ballet, Washington Ballet and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. Under her direction, she has lead students to winning high scores and special awards at competitions and even for herself with choreography awards. She has been teaching for over 10 years and loves spreading the joy of dance through teaching.

Miss Robin has been around dance her entire life, dancing from the age of 5. She has over 30 years of hands-on dance mom experience as all four of her children danced growing up. The family tradition has now continued as she gets to watch her granddaughter start her dance journey!
